How We Can Help You
XMc Wealth Management is a comprehensive wealth advisory practice that aims to provide solutions, either directly or through our networks of professionals, to our clients’ financial objectives and concerns. We understand that each client’s situation is unique and requires customized solutions to address their specific situation. In providing solutions to our clients, we have partnered with Mariner, which allows us to focus more on what truly matters—understanding our clients and providing solutions to address their concerns.
Investment Management
We will get to know you, your financial goals, your tolerance for risk, and the time frame of your financial plan. We will then take a proactive approach to diversify your portfolio across asset classes, including risk assets (equities, real assets, and alternatives) and less risky assets (cash and fixed income), and periodically review your portfolio, making adjustments as needed to align with your overall objectives and risk tolerance.
- Diversification among multiple asset classes
- Consideration of different styles and strategies within asset classes
- Implementation of active and passive strategies
- Strategic asset allocation adjustments
Financial Planning
We will partner with you to understand your situation, goals, and financial objectives. In doing so, we will develop a customized financial plan that works for you now and over the long term. Depending on your circumstances, this comprehensive financial plan may include planning for: the transition of your business, retirement, legacy, and charitable intentions. Our planning process includes the following:
- Data gathering, understanding you, and a deep assessment of your current situation
- Address immediate concerns – focus on risk areas
- Collaborate to set goals and outline plans for achieving them
- Thoughtful execution of strategic priorities – including tax strategy
- Ongoing monitoring and modifications to your financial plan
- Managing financial assets according to the plan’s objectives
Tax Planning
An effective tax strategy is an essential part of any wealth and estate plan, which may help reduce potential liabilities and strengthen your overall financial plan. With Chad’s background as a CPA and the team’s 40+ years of combined experience in a CPA firm, we have a deep understanding of the tax landscape and how changes in tax law can affect our clients. We often work closely with each client’s CPA and other tax professionals to ensure strategies are coordinated and aligned.
- Proactive, creative tax analysis and year-round planning
- Implementation of multi-state tax strategies, including residency and domicile
- Philanthropic planning
Estate, Gift, Trust & Legacy Planning
This type of planning begins with making sure that the “wealth creator” is taken care of first before any estate and legacy planning occurs. Estate and legacy planning is the foundation for safeguarding your family, finances, and legacy for future generations. A person can do an exceptional job of “making it” financially, but deciding how to properly delegate wealth can be a difficult task. Still, in the end, if your goal of leaving your values and wealth to the people and organizations that you wish at the appropriate time is not achieved, then perhaps you haven’t fully achieved your goals. This type of planning may include leaving wealth to your family and friends, passing on a business, or giving to charity after you are gone. An appropriate plan lets you control how and when they will receive their inheritance, providing security while seeking to minimize taxes on these transfers.
As we get to know and work with clients, this type of planning becomes a vital and significant part of our ongoing working relationship. We have many years of experience guiding clients through this planning process. Often, this type of planning will include trusts, which are legal entities created to hold and manage assets according to the client’s (grantor’s) wishes regarding when and how the assets will ultimately be distributed to the individuals that they have selected. We can help you with:
- Reviewing and advising on trusted documents, including all important decisions such as the type of trust, who should be the trustee, to whom and when to distribute the assets, etc.
- Gifting strategies to family and friends, including gifting during one’s life as opposed to waiting until one has passed
- Charitable planning
- Generation-skipping wealth transfer strategies
Risk Management / Insurance Analysis
Having risk reduction strategies in place can help you protect your family now and in the future. To build a sound financial plan, it’s a good idea to include strategies to reduce risk, which may include insurance solutions such as life, disability, and liability insurance. We can help you evaluate solutions and recommend options to fit your family’s needs, including:
- Asset and income protection strategies
- Analysis of major insurance companies and product recommendations
- Life insurance reviews and long-term care expense mitigation
- Estate tax reduction strategies

- Financial reporting (purchase price allocations and goodwill impairment)
- Litigation (marital dissolution and shareholder disputes)
Investment advisory services are offered through Mariner Platform Solutions (MPS); affiliates of MPS or other third-party professionals may provide some of the services listed herein which may be subject to additional fees.
